Weekend review No.4

December 16, 2012

I thought I’d open this week with some cricket– a seesaw game between India and England will likely finish in a draw, bringing to an end a great series between these teams. England get a deserved win as the large woman warbles on.

SPOTY gave us a deserved winner in ‘Wiggo le frog’, who, I will draw your attention to, I masterfully picked out in my previous debate on SPOTY- https://gibberishsport.wordpress.com/2012/11/28/wednesday-debate-spoty/

In all seriousness, all the nominees had a great year and the whole event was a fantastic celebration of our achievement and rare British self-backslapping.

Newcastle lost AGAIN in the football, and although we played fairly well against Man City, its getting to a really worrying stage. Manchester United sealed a victory and Tottenham won thanks to big man Jan getting another goal. That centre-back has more goals than Torres this season. Arsenal play tomorrow in a must win game against Reading and both managers have the axe looming over their necks.

Thanks for reading, like and follow for more. I think I might blog more frequently this week…
